The World Woof Cup, Week 3: The Ransom Note

In week 3 of the soccer-themed World Woof Cup (June 2026), Metro Animals daycare dogs in Fort Worth and Plano searched for ransom-note clues, worked out a code puzzle and enjoyed a relaxing sports massage session.

The search for the Jack Russell Trophy took a dramatic turn this week. Ransom notes started showing up all around the stadium, giving clues to where the trophy might be. Something about them seemed familiar, and soon the clues pointed to the infamous Chaos Cats, out to ruin another Barksville event. They had even snuck in and made a mess of everything.

While the town debated its next move, preparations for the championship carried on. Our All-Stars proved they are star detectives as well as star athletes, piecing together the clues and working out the sequence needed to crack the code.

This week’s menu

• The Ransom Note Forage — the arrival of the note brings a new level of pressure.
• The Chaos Cat Interference Zone — with the note confirmed, the environment begins to feel off.
• The Code Breaker Challenge — the dogs begin decoding the mystery.
• The Sports Massage & Recovery Session — with pressure building, recovery and body handling become essential.
• The Defensive Line Weave — as the investigation intensifies, movement becomes more precise.

Rest and recovery

After all that training, our canine athletes earned some well-deserved recovery time. The sports massage and relaxation session came with a private massage table, warm towels and plenty of cuddles, so the All-Stars could kick up their feet and take it easy. It is a reminder of why preparation, teamwork and trust matter so much.

How to join the next adventure

Enrichment is an add-on to any daycare day at Metro Animals — ask for it at drop-off, by the day, the week or the whole month. It’s part of the program that earned us the highest score in the country at the 2024 Dog Gurus Daycare Games. Read more about how our enrichment works, and if your pup is new to the pack, find your nearest location — every new dog’s first day is free.

It’s a great day to play!
