Bubble Parties at Metro Animals

Why enrichment? Enrichment gives dogs an outlet for their natural instincts (sniffing, searching, solving) and works their brain, not just their legs. A few minutes of sniff-and-search or puzzle work takes real effort, so dogs go home happily tired: body exercised, brain satisfied, confidence a little bigger. How our enrichment works

Scented, dog-safe bubbles in peanut butter, birthday cake, apple pie and blueberry are a favorite enrichment at Metro Animals daycares in Fort Worth and Plano, where dogs chase, pop and watch them float.

Summer time means bubble time at Metro Animals. Scented bubbles are always a big hit for group enrichment at our daycares in Fort Worth and Plano, and they turn up all year long, from holiday parties to summer days.

Scented, safe and made for dogs

These are not ordinary bubbles. We use scented, dog-safe bubbles in irresistible scents like peanut butter, birthday cake, apple pie and blueberry. When an 80-degree day landed over the holidays last December, our Fort Worth pups got a full bubble pool party, with a bone-shaped pool and bubbles scented like peanut butter and bacon.

Chase them or watch them

Some dogs dash, pounce and pop every bubble in reach. Others find bubbles calming: they like to watch them float and fall, and some will even sit or stand in them as they trickle down. Playing as a group, dogs also grow more confident around moving objects while engaging their senses with all those scents.

Last December our daycare pups burned off their holiday zoomies in a full-on snowstorm of bubbles, and Plano started Christmas Eve with an early-morning party full of bubbles, toys and furry friends. Plano regulars Jesse and Jamie simply cannot get enough of our Puppy Love bubbles, and in Fort Worth, birthday girl Bonnie is always down for a big bubble party.
