Orientation Day

Welcome to Metro Animals! Our goal is to give your dog a positive off-leash play experience in a safe and comfortable environment. Your dog’s first day will consist of a slow introduction to the people and dogs in our daycare playgroups. They will be grouped with other dogs with the same size, age, and playstyle. We will get to know your dog’s preferred activities and friends over the course of the day.

Metro Animals Requirements

  • Current vaccinations (including Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella) – No need for paper records. We can call your vet for you!
  • Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old AND fully vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella.
  • Dogs 7 months and older must be spayed/neutered

*We recommend newly adopted adult dogs settle into their new home for at least 3 weeks before starting daycare to get comfortable in their new surroundings.

*Metro Animals strongly recommends 3 days of daycare prior to your dog’s first overnight stay with us to ensure their comfort level and to meet all their new human and furry friends ahead of time.
