Pumpkin Paw-looza at Metro Animals Plano

Why enrichment? Enrichment gives dogs an outlet for their natural instincts (sniffing, searching, solving) and works their brain, not just their legs. A few minutes of sniff-and-search or puzzle work takes real effort, so dogs go home happily tired: body exercised, brain satisfied, confidence a little bigger. How our enrichment works

In October 2025, dogs at Metro Animals in Plano posed in front of a fall backdrop and chomped and licked pumpkin, straight from the shell or spread on a lick mat, at Pumpkin Paw-looza.

Fall arrived in Plano with a pumpkin corner of our own: a glowing fall-forest backdrop, real pumpkins and a cozy plaid blanket, with plenty of pumpkin for our pups to dig into.

In mid-October, Archer had a smashing good time at the Pumpkin Party. Nothing says fall fun like big smiles and even bigger pumpkins, and Archer’s grin says it better than we can.

Pumpkin Paw-looza

About a week later, Plano announced Pumpkin Paw-looza, hosted on Mondays and Tuesdays and booked with a quick call. Each pup got some cute pictures in front of the fall backdrop, then got down to the serious business of chomping and licking pumpkin, straight from the shell or spread across a lick mat.
